I trust your expertise and I wish you to help me to find solution to my problem.
I have a fixed flow piston pump with broken axis brand rexroth AFFO28, this pump operates four cylinders via a distributor. The speed of the cylinders is very slow even if the pressure reaches 4300 psi but the temperature and vibrations are highs
.I don’t know if that pump which delivers 4300 psi can be defective? Normally, if pressure is high, the pump can’t have an inside leaks.
So, is it necessary to measure flow to test the a hydraulic pump or just measure the pressure since there is a relationship between flow and pressure.
